During the tour you will also get the chance to spot the colourful birds at Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Situated on the banks of the Vembanad Lake, it is known as a birdwatcher’s paradise. You may spot various amazing birds such as the cuckoo, owl, waterfowl, egret, heron and the water duck along with that you may also spot the various migratory birds as well such as Siberian cranes. Along with that you will get the chance to enjoy the cruising on the backwaters of Alleppey.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Cochin-Kumarakom(By Road-49 kilometres)

Main Attractions:- Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

Upon arrival at the airport in Cochin, meet our tour representative, after welcome, proceed to Kumrakom.

Check-in at a backwater resort. After freshen up , proceed to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, it is Protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. It is best to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you are likely to spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian crane.

You may also take some adventure activities like water skiing and windsailing.

Stay overnight at the backwater resort.

Day 2 Kumarakom-Alleppey-Kumarakom(By Road-32 kilometres)

Main Attractions:- Backwater cruise

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Kumarakom, enjoy the backwater cruise on the placid waters of Lake Vembanad. Explore the Kettuvallaum which is a traditional houseboat.

Later in the day, proceed to Kottayam to board the beautiful traditional houseboats for an overnight backwater cruise.

Day 3 Kumarakom-Kovalam(By Road-180 Kilometres)

Main Attractions:- Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach.

After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam, Kerala’s most popular tourist destination Kovalam.

On arrival, check in at the resort. Overnight stay at a resort. After freshen up, you have the choice to explore the beautiful beaches the town such as Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach, apart from this you may also enjoy the water sports activity such as kayaking, skiing swimming, you may also take relaxing Ayurvedic massage as well. Overnight Stay in Kovalam.

Day 4 Kovalam-Trivandrum(By Road-16 kilometres)

Today is the last day of the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum International Airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
