Also known as Keralam, Kerala is one of the most beautiful state of India, blessed with amazing geographical features, wedged between the Lakshadweep Sea and the Western Ghats. This beautiful state consists of high mountains of Western Ghats, splendid gorges and picturesque deep cut valleys, spectacular beaches and backwaters. Apart from this Kerala is also having the rich flora and fauna. This maritime tropical region, having 11,125 square km, dense forests area which covers about 29% of the total land area of Kerala. The state is the home of thirteen Wildlife Sanctuaries along with Five National Parks, which spread over 2250 square km., which offers incredible experience of wildlife with scenic surroundings of Kerala.

‘Kerala wildlife Magical Tour’ will give you the chance to explore some of the exotic wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala such as Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary, Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, Kumarakom Bird sanctuary and Wayanad. Itinerary

Day 1 Bangalore-Mysore(By Road-145 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Maharaja Palace, Devaraja Fruit and vegetable market and Tipu Sultan Palace

Arrival at Bangalore, meet our representative, and then drive to Mysore. Upon arrival at Mysore check in to pre-booked hotel, rest for a while, and then proceed to visit Mysore major attractions as Maharaja Palace, Devaraja Fruit and vegetable market and Tipu Sultan Palace. After exploring Mysore major attractions return back to hotel

Have dinner and overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 2 Mysore-Mudumalai(By Road-80 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary

Afrter breakfast, proceed towards Mudumalai, upon arrival check in to pre-booked hotel, rest for a while, and then go out to explore Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary was the first sanctuary in south India. The land is extremely varied with hills, valleys, narrow valleys, waterways and swamps. It includes of tropical moist deciduous forests, dry deciduous forests and scrub forests.

Return back to hotel and have dinner.

Day 3 Mudumalai-Wayanad(By Road-60 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Nanjungud, Banasura dam, & Bhagavathi temple

After Breakfast check out the hotel & proceed to Wayanad. Wayanad name is derived from “wayalnadu” mean’s land of paddy fields. It is the home of large tribal population was once known as “Africa” in kerala. Wayanad is the largest producer of pepper in the country. On the way visit Nanjungud, Banasura dam (The second largest dam in Asia) & Bhagavathi temple.

On arrival Wayanad check in the hotel. Enjoy a tasteful dinner.

Day 4 Wayanad

Main Attractions: - Lakkidi, Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery, Pookkot Lake & kuruvadeep

After Breakfast visit Lakkidi, the gateway to Wayanad, Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery, Pookkot Lake & kuruvadeep where one would come across a variety of vegetation, some rare orchids and wild flowers. These are also haven for migratory birds. The avian life here includes hornbills, parrots and a host of butterfly species. Late in the evening return back to the hotel, have a delicious dinner.

Day 5 Wayanad-Calicut(By Road-90 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Bypore beach

Morning, after breakfast, proceed to Calicut. On arrival, check into pre-booked hotel. It was in Calicut that the great voyager Vasco Da Gama landed in the 14th century in his quest for spices thus putting it on the world map. The traditional capital of North Kerala and a leading trading centre for spices on the west, the city has retained its glorious past with historic sites and a unique culture.

In the afternoon drive to Beypore, located at 11kms from Calicut, a prominent port and fishing harbour of ancient Kerala. You could visit Bypore beach to explore the beautiful surroundings, and in the late evening return back to hotel, dinner.

Day 6 Calicut-Palghat (Palakkad)(By Road-130 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Palakkad fort

Morning after breakfast, proceed toward Palghat, which is rightfully known as the Gateway of Kerala, giving the rest of India access to the State. Palakkad is a land of palm trees and paddy fields. It's known to be rich in flora and fauna.

On arrival check in to pre-booked hotel, then visit Palakkad fort, it also known as Tipu's Fort is an old fort situated in the heart of Palakkad town of Kerala state, southern India. It was built by Haider Ali in 1766 ACE and remains one of the best preserved forts in Kerala, and then return back to hotel, enjoy delicious dinner.

Day 7 Palghat(Palakkad)-Munnar(By Road-159 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Munnar

Morning, after breakfast, drive to Munnar; a hill station located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, most of which are privately owned. With its sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel and unwind. Rest of the day is free for leisure, to enjoy the ambience of Munnar. Have dinner.

Day 8 Munnar-Periyar(Thekkady)(By Road-40 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Plantations (Tea Estates)

After breakfast drive to Periyar, the famous wild life sanctuary of South India; upon arrival check in at pre-booked hotel, then Visit Plantations (Tea Estates).and then rest and relax at the resort, dinner.

Day 9 Periyar (Thekkady)

Main Attractions: - 3 hrs trekking inside the Periyar Wild life sanctuary

Morning go for a 3 hrs trekking inside the Periyar Wild life sanctuary, then go for boat cruise in the lake, Periyar Wildlife sanctuary is a best option to see the home nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, return back to hotel, dinner.

Day 10 Periyar-Kumarakom-Alleppey(By Road- 47 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - Houseboat

Proceed to Kumarakom, Its splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. You can take sunbathe on the deck or observe the landscape from the protection of the cabin. Canoes with huge sails still transport people and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other household materials being brought door to door by small wooden boats, this whole area is surrounded with coconut palms and lush green rice fields. Upon arrival Board into a traditional Kerala style Houseboat and Cruise through the backwaters, it is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Have dinner.

Day 11 Alleppey-Cochin(By Road-50 kms approx)

Main Attractions: - St Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace

After breakfast, proceed to Cochin, A port town since early centuries, Cochin, also known as the spice coast of India, attracted traders and invaders from the world over. Needless to say, Cochin offers you some fascinating snippets of history and culture.

Upon arrival check in to pre-booked hotel, then go to explore the amazing sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. After exploring Cochin, return back to hotel, dinner.

Day 12 Cochin Airport

On the last day of the tour, after Breakfast check out the hotel & drop at Cochin Airport / Railway station to board your onward destination Flight or Train, with happy memories.
