During the tour, you will enjoy cruising at the traditional houseboats on the backwaters of Alleppey. Explore the splendid backwaters along with picturesque landscape, which will give you the memorable experience. Along with that also enjoy the birdwatching during your visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

Upon arrival at the airport in Cochin, meet our tour representative, after welcome, proceed to Kumrakom. It is one of the major tourist destination of the state of Kerala. 

 

Check-in at a backwater resort. After freshen up , proceed to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, it is Protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. It is best to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you are likely to spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian crane.

 

You may also take some adventure activities like water skiing and windsailing.

Stay overnight at the backwater resort.

 

Main Attractions: - Kettuvallaum Houseboat.

 

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Kumarakom, enjoy the backwater cruise on the placid waters of Lake Vembanad. Explore the Kettuvallaum which is a traditional houseboat. 

 

Later explore the surrounding coconut grooves along with the beautiful locations. Stay overnight at the hotel.

 Post breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Locate at 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. 

 

Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Overnight at Alleppey.

After an early breakfast, get transferred to the Cochin airport to catch a flight for an onward journey.
