Often known as God’s own Country’, located on the Malabar Coast. The state is gifted with amazing geographical features, which made this place as a nature’s paradise. The state offers vast coastline surrounded with coconut palm, waterfalls, amazing backwaters, tranquil hill stations and biodiverse Western Ghats. Apart from its spectacular nature, Kerala is also known for rich cuisines and traditional style of cooking with liberal use of fresh coconuts and various spices as from vegetarians to Malabari authentic non-vegetation and sea foods, everything are available here.

Kerala is also known for aromatic spice plantations including Black Gold Pepper and cardamom, ginger and cloves etc. During the tour explore the local farms, attend the cooking demonstration to learn the Kerala seafood, also explore the spice Village, and enjoy the traditional cooking classes. Along with that you will also get the chance to explore the Mararikulam beach and various other splendid locations of the state.

Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin (Arrival)

Upon arrival in Cochin, get an assisted transfer to the hotel. Cochin is one of the most important city of Kerala. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Post lunch, enjoy the boat ride. Later, proceed to visit some major attractions of Cochin such as the oldest Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church and Mattancherry Palace.

Post lunch, enjoy the boat ride. Later, proceed to visit some major attractions of Cochin such as the oldest Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church and Mattancherry Palace.

Day 2 Cochin

Today after breakfast, proceed for the famous fish and spice market of Cochin. Later in the afternoon attend the culinary class by an expert chef who will introduce Kerala style of cooking.

Day 3 Cochin-Periyar(By Road-151 kilometres)

Today after breakfast, proceed to Periyar by road. Upon arrival at Periyar. Check in at the hotel. After freshen up, proceed to explore tea, spice and rubber estates. Later in the afternoon enjoy boat safari on the Periyar Lake.

Later in the evening enjoy the cooking class and learn Indian dishes when cooked with traditional Kerala spices.

Day 4 Periyar

Today after breakfast, explore the Spice Village. Later enjoy the cooking class, where you learn the cooking using fresh indigenous spices. You may also try your hand on some of the traditional dishes.

Day 5 Periyar-Kumarakom(By Road-116 Kilometres)

After breakfast, leave for Kumarakom. It is renowned bird sanctuary. It is the home of various exotic and migratory bird species. On arrival check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 6 Kumarakom

After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride to the local farms. Later, attend the cooking demonstration to learn to Kerala seafood. Rest day is free at leisure.

Day 7 Kumarakom-Marariculam(By Road-27 Kms)

Today breakfast, proceed to Mararikulam by road. Upon arrival at Mararikulam, check in to the resort. After freshen up, explore beautiful Mararikulam beach, upon arrival. Here enjoy the beach activities and get the relaxing.

Day 8 Mararikulam-Cochin(By Road-43 Kilometres)

Today is the last day of the tour. After having an early breakfast, proceed to Cochin. After reaching Cochin board a flight for your onward journey.
